Hello fellow Genealogist! Over the past 10 (Page started: January 24, 2006) years I have been thinking, how nice it would be, if I could get the information off our families headstone. But, it would cost to much for us to drive to each and every cemetery to get the photos. I thought how nice it could be if all of us, "Fellow Genealogist" could get together and help each other out! All you would need is a digital camera.

If you would like to help out other "Fellow Genealogist" in your area. I can add you to the "Cemetery Plot Locators" page, with the information on which cemeteries you would be willing to go, and take some photos of the headstones for other "Fellow Genealogist". How nice would it be to get the information in a photo! That way you could get the name, dates of birth and death. Some only have the name and years. If you can, try and help us locate the plot or headstone in the cemetery.

Please, let me know if you would like to help out. I will add a button for each State, with a section for each City, Counties, & Cemeteries that you are willing to help out, and take a photo of a Headstone or Plot for another "Fellow Genealogist". A photo will be worth a thousand words in years to come. With time the headstone & tombstones break down. Many have been damage over the years, lets get photos of them now, before they are totally unreadable.

I can't promise that the people on this list will help out like they say. I hope everyone, in good faith, will help those people when they say they will. Plus, we can't guarantee the information the volunteers find will be what you are after. We just have to all do our best to help each other with a favor of getting the photos for them, and hope they will return the favor for you or someone else!
